SEASON 11

  • GROUCHO

    Oct. 10 - Nov. 3, 2024

Dubbed "nothing short of masterful" by the Chicago Tribune, award-winning actor Frank Ferrante recreates his PBS, New York and London acclaimed stage portrayal of the legendary comedian in this fast paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the best Groucho one-liners, stories and songs - including “Hooray for Captain Spalding,” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.” The audience literally becomes part of the show as Ferrante ad-libs his way throughout the performance in grand Groucho style. Accompanied by his onstage pianist, Ferrante portrays the young Groucho of stage and film and reacquaints us with brothers Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Gummo. "There is laughter in abundance," says The New York Times. A show perfect for all ages!

  • JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

    Nov. 21 - Dec 22 2024

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s charming retelling of the story of Joseph, his jealous brothers and one very colorful garment is the perfect show for the entire family – and just in time for the holidays! The parable comes to life in vibrant color featuring eye-popping sets and delightful dance numbers. And the score features a crazy quilt of musical styles from country-western to calypso to Rock & Roll. From “Any Dream Will Do” to “Close Every Door,” there’s no denying the charm of this blockbuster hit!

  • BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL

    Jan. 16 - Feb. 16 2025

Follow the remarkable story of Carole King’s rise from Brooklyn girl to hit “Brill Building Sound” songwriting team to one of the most successful solo acts in musical history! Featuring hits from King as well as Gerry Goffin, Cynthia Weill and Barry Mann, you’ll fall in love all over again with “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,” “It’s Too Late,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “Up On the Roof,” “So Far Away” and so many more! This nostalgia-inducing showstopper is a testament to the tenacity and triumph of a simple girl who unified the world with her music.

  • NO, NO NANETTE

    Mar. 13 - Apr. 6 2025

Even though this lighthearted romp was written over 100 years ago, it still delivers that undeniable Broadway flair! It’s the Roaring 20’s and three couples sharing a cottage in Atlantic City find themselves amid a blackmail scheme. With music by Vincent Youmans – including the timeless hits “Tea for Two” and “I Want to Be Happy” – and a bevy of tap numbers, the wacky story is filled with romantic mishaps and comical misunderstandings. Expect stylish costumes, lavish sets and, of course, enough hoofin’ and soft-shoe that would make even Ruby Keeler smile.

  • MY WAY

    Apr. 24 - May 18 2025

Is there anyone who isn’t familiar with the songbook of Ol’ Blue Eyes? This classy and chic revue boasts 55 songs made famous by the Chairman of the Board including “Chicago,” “It Was a Very Good Year,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “New York, New York,” and “Love and Marriage.” With its easy-going comedy, elegant setting and superb musical arrangements, the Great American Songbook never sounded (or looked) so good! And the Wick has cast some of the best vocalists who each infuse magic and mystique to those timeless melodies.

In April of 2013, Mrs. Wick acquired the former Caldwell Theatre Company space in north Boca Raton, resurrecting the vacant property into the Wick Theatre and Costume Museum which opened for business in September with its first production of The Sound of Music. The production was heralded by the press and patrons alike, making the Wick Theatre a formidable contender in professional theatre in South Florida despite its newcomer status.

The Costume Museum followed suit in November, opening its doors to nearly sold-out crowds in early November. Housing the original wardrobes from over 35 Broadway productions and revivals, the museum has entertained thousands of patrons in a relatively short period of time. The two facilities now function together making the Wick Theatre and Costume Museum an arts cornerstone in Palm Beach County.

More than ever, we need to support the Arts. The Pandemic taught us many things, but I believe it also taught us that we turn to the Arts in times of turmoil. As we try and get our minds off of heartbreak, sadness, loss, or the mundane rigors of life., we can binge watch a series, catch a movie, listen to our favorite soundtrack, or best yet… enjoy a Theatrical Play which encompasses many artistic talents all in one.

Many of our favorite actors & musicians started out in school theatre, orchestra, or band. So we need to support the future generation. We owe our sanity to them.

Please support the theatre today!
